Pro workspace features
The Pro workspace is deterministic-first (no OpenAI cost on normal editing and export). Whisper transcribe is a paid add-on when enabled in your environment — not included in base Pro. AI report explain runs on the homepage tool for Pro users (daily cap).

Quota math (Free+)
One successful homepage run and one successful POST /api/v1/process both decrement the same combined pool — not separate buckets. Failed HTTP responses (4xx/5xx) do not decrement remaining counts.
Workspace enforcement
- Free+ cannot create projects, upload, edit the timeline, or run new exports. The sample project is read-only — you may download existing export artifacts from History.
- Free+ fixes files via the public homepage tool or v1 API — both share one combined daily quota.
- Pro unlocks full workspace, custom export scripts, client library, and export webhooks.
FAQ
What can I do on the sample project (Free+)?
Open the sample from the sidebar, review Health and Cues (read-only), and download exports already in History. You cannot upload, save cue edits, or generate new handoff packs until you upgrade.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Self-serve checkout at /checkout only when billing is enabled in this environment. Otherwise use Account → upgrade or the waitlist flow shown in the dashboard.
Is transcribe included in Pro?
No — Whisper transcribe is a separate add-on when Stripe transcribe billing is configured. Account shows quota and upsell when available.
