CaptionPass provides caption validation, repair, and export tools for video editors. The service is offered as-is during early access. Features may change without notice.
The free tool at captionpass.com processes uploads in memory for each request. We do not persist public converter uploads. Fair use applies: up to 5 successful conversions per UTC calendar day per client, plus burst limits. Automated abuse, resale of access, or circumvention may result in blocking. To report abuse, email support@captionpass.com.
Signed-in workspace users may store projects in configured cloud storage under their account. Paid subscriptions, when enabled, are processed by Stripe; renewal and cancellation follow Stripe customer portal terms. Refunds are handled case-by-case per our terms.
You retain all rights to subtitles and media you upload. We claim no ownership. You are responsible for having rights to process and publish the material you submit.
Optional transcription and writing assistance may send content to third-party AI providers when enabled in your environment. Outputs are suggestions — review before delivery.
CaptionPass does not guarantee platform acceptance by YouTube, TikTok, or other hosts. Reports are heuristic guidance, not legal or accessibility certification.
